JAMMU, Jan 24: New team of Traders Federation Ware House-Nehru Market, Jammu led by Deepak Gupta took charge in a function held here today.
A good number of traders attended the function to greet and convey their best wishes to the newly elected team including Deepak Gupta- president, Dheeraj Mahajan- senior vice president, Vishal Gupta- junior vice president, Abhimanyu Gupta- secretary general, Rahul Gupta- secretary and Nitish Gupta- treasurer.
Arun Gupta, president Chamber of Commerce and Industry Jammu and his team members; Lalit Mahajan, president Bari Brahmana Industries Association and his team members, Pooja Kapoor, president Residency Road Traders Association, Ashu Gupta, Chairman Apsra Road Businessmen Association and his team members; Ashish Gupta, president Kanak Mandi Traders Association; Anil Gupta- president Bahu Plaza Traders Association, Anoop Mittal- former president Kanak Mandi Traders Association; Surinder Mahajan- former president Raghunath Bazaar Businessmen Association and office bearers of different Bazaar Associations greeted and conveyed their best wishes to Deepak Gupta and his team members.
Abhimanyu Gupta welcomed the guests and after formal welcome the new team facilitated the Election President Rajesh Bhagotra and his team members – Atul Khanna, Krishan Gupta, Sudesh Gupta and Sunil Kumar Gupta by presenting mementos.
Deepak Gupta in his presidential address thanked all the members of the Federation for expressing confidence in him and his team members and assured that he along with his team will work hard day and night to solve every problem of the traders.
He said the biggest challenge in front of Jammu today is to save its existence. There is a need to save the business of Jammu because now the train is reaching Kashmir after Katra. Gupta said that this is a good thing and the people of Jammu are with this development but along with this, some attractions will also have to be created in Jammu so that the tourism industry of Jammu can progress.
