Decomposed body recovered from hutment at Belicharana

JAMMU, Aug 25: A decomposed body was recovered from a rented hutment at Belicharana area here today.
Acting on specific information, a police team reached at Belicharana area and recovered a decomposed body of a labourer, identified as Sandoor Singh son of Kapoor Singh (35) of Digi Landhar, Udhampur, a police official said.
It was accordingly shifted to Government Medical College Jammu for conducting the post-mortem examination, he said.
According to the police official, the deceased was putting up in a rented hutment of a Chhattisgarh resident at Belicharana area for the past many years.
To further investigate into the circumstances leading to his death, he said, inquest proceedings have been initiated under the relevant provisions of the law.
