NEW DELHI, June 5: DD News has seen a remarkable rise in viewership and digital reach after launching its new prime-time show, “Decode with Sudhir Chaudhary”.
Anchored by senior journalist Sudhir Chaudhary, the show has quickly become one of the most-watched programs on the channel, airing from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM on weekdays.
From its first episode, Decode attracted a wide audience with its sharp analysis and engaging debates.
The show brought a major boost in Television Rating Points (TRP), reshaping how news is consumed on DD News.
Decode has also performed strongly on digital platforms as its debut episode, aired on May 15, 2025, drew around 2.6 million views on YouTube, setting a record for DD News.
Throughout May, the show clocked a total of 23.9 million views-almost half of the channel’s 49.2 million monthly views.
It also generated 148 million impressions, contributing to nearly 68% of the channel’s total impressions that month.
The show helped DD News gain 4.53 lakh new subscribers in May alone, confirming its digital success.
