SAMBA, Dec 9: An unidentified dead body of a teenager male was found near AIIMS Vijaypur 13 kms from here.
Upon receiving information from local residents, a police team from Vijaypur Police Station (PS) immediately rushed to the spot and after completing the necessary procedures, shifted the body in the mortuary of the district hospital Samba for other formalities and identification.
Police have initiated an investigation under Section 194 BNSS of the IPC at Vijaypur Police Station. Sources indicate that the young man died from a drug overdose, as the location where the body was found has previously been the site of numerous drug-addicted youth. Police are currently investigating and are working to identify the body.
