SAMBA, Dec 8: Mystery shrouds the death of a Border Security Force (BSF) Jawan whose dead body was found in canal at village Rehain near here, today.
As per reports the people after seeing the dead body along with his motorcycle bearing Registration Number PB 10 CB 2151 lying in canal shifted him to District Hospital Samba for treatment. But the doctors at the Hospital declared him as brought dead.
He has been identified as Sukhdeep Singh, son of Mohinder Singh of village Firozpur Punjab. He was serving in 82Bn BSF Panjtila, Samba near Railway Station.
The dead body has been kept in Hospital for post-mortem. The police said the cause of death can only be ascertained after the autopsy report. The Samba police have registered a case in this regard under relevant sections of the law.
