Dead body found under mysterious circumstances in Govt School

SAMBA, Sept 24: The body of a young man was found in a room in the Government School in Chachwal, a border village in Samba district, on Wednesday morning. When the Government school teachers arrived at the school on Wednesday morning, they noticed blood splatters and found the body tied to a window in a room. Shocked, they alerted former Naib Sarpanch, Ranjit Singh, who then informed the police. Police arrived at the spot, took the body into custody, and send it to the District Hospital, Samba, for a post-mortem.
Superintendent of Police, Samba, Garu Ram, DSP, Dr. Sumit Sharma, along with the FSL team and several other officers, arrived at the spot and collected evidence. The deceased has been identified as Vijay Kumar, son of the late Bishan Das, a resident of Chachwal. Police observed blood splattered throughout the school premises, and the body was found tied to a window in an old room.
Police officials stated that the circumstances of the young man’s death will only be clear after the post-mortem report. The deceased worked as a Mistry. Villagers reported that the incident occurred just 50 meters from the deceased’s home, creating an atmosphere of fear and terror throughout the village. People suspect it to be a murder and are demanding that the police conduct an impartial investigation, arrest the culprits, and uncover the truth so that peace can be restored in the village.
