KATHUA, May 27: A dead body of middle aged woman was found at Railway track Chan Datyal near Chadwal in Kathua district by the railway guard while patrolling early, this morning.
The identity of the lady could not be ascertained and her age is stated by Railway Police is about 40 years.
The dead body of the lady has been kept in SDH Hirnagar for identification. So far, no one came forward to make claim. Police suspect that the lady might have died after fall from Madras Express which passed from the railway track at about 1 am, last night. However one passenger of the train had made a complaint with Railway Police at Ludhiana, Punjab that his accomplice lady passenger was missing. The police is investigating the matter.
