DEA delegation calls on Dy CM

JAMMU, Dec 10: To discuss their burning issues, a delegation of All Jammu and Kashmir Diploma Engineers Association (DEA) called on Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary, here today.
The deputation was led by Upinder Singh, President, All Jammu and Kashmir Diploma Engineers Association (DEA).
The members of association, appraised the Dy CM about the issues of Diploma Cadre including, promotions from the post of JE to Assistant Engineer, Assistant Engineer to Assistant Executive Engineer and Assistant Executive Engineer to Executive Engineer as per the 20% quota earmarked for Diploma Engineers, issuance of tentative seniority list after 2022 and regularisation of Diploma Engineers at every level.
The delegation also apprised the Dy CM that most of the Diploma Engineers have not attained a single promotion even rendering more than 25 years of service.
The Dy CM gave patient hearing to the deputation and assured them that their demands will be fulfilled at the earliest.
Among others who were part of the deputation included, Narinder Singh, Anil Khajuria, Pankaj Goswami and Radhey Shyam.
