KISHTWAR, July 25: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Angrez Singh Rana visited Machail along with SSP Abrar Ahmed Choudhary and reviewed arrangements for pilgrims.
DDC directed the concerned officers and officials to work with synergy in tandem with the members of Sarva Shakti Seva Sanstha by improving basic facilitates viz safe drinking water, food and logistic facilities, blankets, clean toilets, first aid facility and help desks so that yatris may not feel any type of difficulty enroute Gulabgarh to Machail.
He asked the Yatra Officer, concerned Magistrates and members of Sanstha to keep supervision over the contractor and his workers who has been assigned the work of cleanliness in all routes from Gulabgarh to Machail.
Rana asked them to report him immediately in case if they notice any type of laxity on the part of contractor in maintaining cleanliness.
DDC made it amply clear that all the directions passed by him in the minutes of meeting regarding the arrangements for Annual Machail Mata Yatra must be adhered by the concerned quarters in letter and spirit and in case if any slackness shown by any officer the same will be reflected in his/her APR’s.
