DDC reviews status of JJM works in Jammu

JAMMU, May 3: District Development Commissioner, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today conducted a comprehensive review of the progress of Jal Jeevan Mission works.
The DDC meticulously evaluated the advancement of individual assignments, with a division-wise scrutiny.
Emphasising the importance of adhering to the schedule, he directed the officers to expedite the projects, which are at various stages of completion, to meet the set deadlines.
Sachin Kumar took stock of the mission’s components, including the construction of bore wells and dug wells. He underscored the necessity for these infrastructural elements to be completed promptly to facilitate a sustainable water supply network throughout the district.
Furthermore, he outlined a strategic roadmap for the future, detailing the necessary interventions to guarantee a reliable and enduring water supply.
The meeting also saw the participation of the Additional District Development Commissioner, Sher Singh, Chief Planning Officer, Uttam Singh, alongside other senior officers from the concerned departments.
