REASI, Oct 9: District Development Commissioner Reasi Nidhi Malik today chaired a review meeting to assess the saturation of developmental indicators and interventions in Aspirational Block Thakrakote under the NITI Aayog’s Aspirational Block Development Programme.
She took a detailed review of improvements achieved in health services, women and child development, social development, agriculture and allied activities, education and basic infrastructure development.
The Functionaries from respective departments presented detailed progress reports on the initiatives undertaken in the block.
While appreciating consistent improvements in certain indicators, the DDC directed departments with slow progress to put in extra efforts to enhance overall performance.
She laid special emphasis on the accurate and timely reporting of data on the ABP portal. The Officers were instructed to ensure data reconciliation and monthly verification with great precision before uploading, so that the achievements and interventions are correctly reflected in official records.
The DDC issued strict directions to the BDO Thakrakote to initiate and fast-track the recovery of PMAY houses under the non-starter category, in coordination with revenue officials.
The newly appointed Aspirational Block Fellow was also briefed and instructed to maintain close liaison with all departments to ensure accurate reporting and timely resolution of queries.
The DDC concluded the meeting with a strong message of accountability, timely implementation and coordinated efforts across departments to accelerate the developmental progress of Aspirational Block Thakrakote.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Sukhdev Singh Samyal, CPO Narinder Kumar, PO POSHAN, ACD, CMO and other concerned officers.
