RAJOURI, May 4: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today conducted an extensive tour of the Bindi area of block Dhangri and inspected the progress on a number of developmental projects being executed in the area.
The DDC was accompanied by AD Fisheries, Munish Sharma; ExEn Jal Shakti Mechanical Rajouri division, Manmohan Singh, other officers and PRIs.
While inspecting the developmental works, the DDC asked the concerned officers to expedite the progress and ensure that the projects are completed within the set deadlines so that necessary benefits reach to the general public at the earliest.
He also asked the concerned officers to work with added zeal and double the efforts to meet the expectations of the public.
Underlining the role of the PRIs in the developmental process, he advised them to keep a close eye on the developmental activities being carried out in their areas and ensure that quality is maintained while executing the developmental works for longevity of the projects.
Assuring timely completion of the works approved under District Capex budget for the current financial year, he said that effective measures would be taken to meet the timeline. He sought active cooperation of the public in this regard.
