RAJOURI, Sept 10: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, today visited Kheora to inspect the culvert that had caused obstruction in the flow of water after recent rainfalls, creating inconvenience for nearby shopkeepers and residents.
During the inspection, the DDC observed that the existing culvert structure was inadequate to manage the flow of water from the Nallah, particularly during rainy seasons. He reviewed the design submitted by BRO for a new culvert after visiting the spot.
The DDC directed the BRO to immediately start the work after design approval and also reviewed the feasibility of providing an alternative route to the public during the construction phase to avoid any disruption in movement.
Senior Superintendent of Police Rajouri, Gaurav Sikarwar; ADC Rajouri, Chander Prakash; representatives from BRO and other officers accompanied the DDC during the visit.
