DDC Rajouri discusses issues hampering pace of developmental projects

RAJOURI, July 11: To discuss and resolve the issues confronting the progress on the developmental projects and shifting of utilities, the District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan today chaired a meeting of the concerned officers.
Among the others, ADC Rajouri, Sachin Dev Singh; SE Jal Shakti, JP Singh; ACR, Tahir Mustafa Malik;  AC Defence, Saleem Qureshi; DFO SF, Sanjay Saraf; ExEn PDD Rajouri, Narotam Kumar, ExEn PMGSY Rajouri, Subash Chander; ExEn PMGSY Budhal, Abdul Gani besides other concerned officers attended the meeting.
A threadbare discussion on various issues confronting the progress of the ongoing developmental projects, including identification of dumping site and title verification of the fruit and non-fruit bearing trees for Rajouri-Thanamandi road and joint verification of the relocation of utilities for the Rajouri-Thanamandi road and roads under the execution of the PMGSY Department was held in the meeting.
For the identification of a dumping site for dumping of the construction material debris of the Rajouri-Thanamandi road, the District Development Commissioner asked the concerned officer from the GREF and Revenue Department to identify a suitable site at the earliest.
Regarding the title verification of all the fruit and non-fruit bearing trees coming in the alignment of Rajouri to Thanamandi road, the Sub Divisional Magistrate and Chief Horticulture Officer have been asked to complete the exercise within two days.
The District Development Commissioner also asked for the joint verification for shifting of utilities of Jal Shakti and JPDCL on Rajouri Thanamandi road and the roads under the execution of the PMGSY Department within two days.
He stressed upon the executing agencies to ensure completion of the projects as per the timeline so that the same are dedicated to the public at the earliest.
The DDC also stressed upon the Executing Agencies to bring in the notice of the District Administration if any issue confronts the pace of the developmental projects so that the same can be resolved at the earliest in the larger public benefit.
The District Development Commissioner also emphasized on mobilising all the available resources productively and effectively for achieving the desired results.
