POONCH, SEPTEMBER 19: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Poonch Ashok Kumar Sharma today chaired a meeting in the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex to review the progress of Aadhi Karamayogi Abhiyan in the district.
The DDC sought detailed feedback from concerned district officers on the status of implementation, while emphasizing the importance of raising awareness among villagers about the objectives of the initiative and the developmental works undertaken by the government including improvement of road connectivity, augmentation of school infrastructure, electricity, water supply and other essential facilities.
The DDC directed officers to identify and fill the infrastructural gap by formulating comprehensive village-wise development plans. He stressed the need for close village-level monitoring and seeking of Gram Sabhas approval for all such plans to ensure community participation and transparency.
The meeting was attended by CPO, Mohammad Iqbal Zargar, PO ICDS, Khalid Hussain Wafa, ACP, PO IWMP, ACD, CEO Education, CAO, CHO, DAHO, Xen JPDCL, DSWO, DPO, DSHO, BDOs, besides block master trainers who joined virtually.
