RAMBAN, Apr 8: District Development Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Aijaz, today ordered suspension of some officers/officials of Rural Development Department and withheld salary of some others for their poor performance.
Taking serious notice for registering poor performance and non-preparation of bills against the executed works by the concerned engineers, officers and officials of various departments under allotted district Capex budget 2016- 17 to their respective departments for developmental works, the DDC Ramban suspended erring officers and officials of Rural Development Department including Assistant Engineer, Batote and Rajgarh, Mehmood, Junior Engineer Ramban, Narinder Singh, Technical Assistant, Ankit Talwar and Balbir Singh with immediate effect.
In the meantime, the salary of Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Mahore, District Sheep Husbandry Officer (DSHO) Ramban, BDO Ramban, Batote and Rajgarh, AEE, RDD Ramban has also been withheld till further order.
The DDC directed the ACD Ramban, DFO Mahore, and DSHO Ramban to explain their position on this behalf within two days positively failing which it shall be presumed that they have nothing to say in their defense and action as warranted under rule shall be initiated against them.
