JAMMU, Jan 3: DDC Neel, Bashir Ahmed Naik, a senior leader of the Congress, along with a large number of his supporters hailing from the Ramsoo area of district Ramban, joined the BJP, at party Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, here, today.
J&K BJP president and MP Rajya Sabha, Sat Sharma CA, along with general secretaries, Sanjita Dogra, Baldev Singh Billawaria, and Gopal Mahajan, district president, Neelam Langeh, and DDC Iqbal Malik welcomed the new entrants on the occasion.
Prominent among those who joined the BJP included Mohd Arif, Mohd Imran, Mohd Iqbal, Ghulam Mohammad, Mohammad Shaheen, Shahnawaz, Tariq Hussain, Zabbar Wani, Mohd Yasin, Mohd Ayub, Farooq Ahmed, Bashir Ahmed, Abdul Wahid, Nasir Iqbal, Sajjad Ahmed, Mohd Amir, Nisar Ahmed, Jahangir Ahmed and many others.
Addressing the new entrants, Sat Sharma CA said that the continuous joining of political and social activists from across party lines is a clear endorsement of the people’s faith in the BJP’s ideology of nationalism, good governance and inclusive development. He asserted that under the decisive leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, Jammu & Kashmir has witnessed a new era of peace, stability and development, something which previous governments and regional parties failed to deliver for decades.
Sanjita Dogra said that the joining reflects people’s growing trust in BJP’s development-oriented policies and Prime Minister, Modi’s leadership, adding that the party remains committed to empowering grassroots workers across Jammu & Kashmir.
Baldev Singh Billawaria said that people are joining the BJP as they are disillusioned with divisive and negative politics, and see BJP as the only party working sincerely for national unity and public welfare.
Bashir Ahmed said he and his supporters were inspired by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s bold leadership and BJP’s role in restoring peace and accelerating development in Jammu & Kashmir, assuring full commitment, discipline and dedicated service to the party, society and the nation.
