AKHNOOR, Nov 18: District Development Council (DDC) member, Suresh Sharma here today started road blacktopping work on road linking Dev Nagar with Barui near here.
The DDC member claimed that the long pending demand of village Dev Nagar of Nardi Panchayat, Maira Mandrian has been fulfilled with the start of blacktopping work.
He also listened problems of the area wherein the locals talked about electricity and water supply issues in their villages.
Sharma said that PM Modi led Union Government is fully focused on J&K and big public welfare schemes including free ration, free vaccine, old age pension etc are being implemented here.
