DDC finalizes arrangements for Kailash Kund Yatra

Kathua, Aug 31: The District Development Commissioner Kathua, Ramesh Kumar today conducted a meeting to finalize the arrangements for the forth coming Kailash Kund Yatra. The meeting was organized by Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority.
At the outset Dr. Bharat Bhushan, Chief Executive Officer Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority told the meeting that every year two Charri -Mubarks from Bani and Duggan of Distt. Kathua go to Kailash Kund Yatra and this year the Yatra is starting from Ist September and will culminate on September 12.
The District Development Commissioner took a detailed review of the arrangements and directed the concerned departments to make best possible arrangements for the yatra. He nominated SDM Bani as the Nodal Officer to make arrangements of tents, drinking water, genset, medicare Facilities, security and fuel wood in coordination with the line departments.
Ravi Mahajan , President Jammu Paryatan Vikas Mandal &  Bharat Bhushan Kotwal President, Bhaderwah Tours and Travels Assocoiation put  forth several suggestions to popularize  Yatra.  Rajesh Gupta and Vinay Gupta of Jai Jagdambay Langer Committee who organize Langers during the Yatra every year also gave suggestions.
