BHADERWAH, Sept 18: District Development Council (DDC) Chairman Doda, Dhananter Singh Kotwal, along with Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh today visited flood affected Bheja village in Bhaderwah. The visit aimed to review the ground situation and extend immediate relief to the affected families.
During the inspection, the delegation interacted with local residents to understand their grievances and the scale of damage caused by the floods. The Deputy Commissioner assured that measures are on to restore services, rehabilitate the affected families and initiate necessary steps for long-term flood mitigation in the region.
On the occasion, relief material including essential supplies was distributed among the affected families, ensuring that immediate needs were met. The officials emphasized the administration’s commitment to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with people during times of distress.
ADC Sunil Kumar Bhutyal; SDPO, and other officials accompanied the DDC Chairman and DC. The joint initiative reinforced the District Administration’s dedication to ensuring prompt relief, effective rehabilitation and improved disaster preparedness for vulnerable areas.
