JAMMU, May 25: To celebrate the success of Operation Sindoor, a function was organized at Doon Defense Academy in a grand manner.
The program started with lighting of lamps. DDA Commandant Colonel Sudhir Verma (Retd) gave information about the success of Operation Sindoor along with the entire incident in his welcome speech.
On this occasion, a cultural program was also organized, which started with Dhanushree’s dance and Shivam Raj and Sonali’s song.
The Swaang dance of 12th class girls was applauded. Rehan Mandal and Saraswati’s speech on Operation Sindoor also made headlines.
Aman Kumar and Nidhi’s poems were also appreciated.
The group dance of the 11th class students along with the group song of the students moved all the guests present there.
The human pyramid by the 12th class students also received applause.
At the end of the program, DDA Director Sandeep Gupta thanked all the guests present and expressed happiness over the strong attack and victory of the Indian Armed Forces on the terrorism nurtured in Pakistan.
He said, “This is the new India and the world has recognized India’s strength through Operation Sindoor.”
On this occasion, Yasin Kumar, who became a part of the Indian Army through the AgniveerYojana, was given a cash prize of 10 thousand rupees as per the tradition of DDA.
At the same time, the first step cadets who scored more than 90 percent marks in 10th were given five hundred rupees each.
DDA Diamonds who cleared the NDA, CDS and AFCAT return exam were given one thousand rupees each and the students who got a place in the weekly test were also awarded with cash prizes.
DDA Deputy Director Divya Gupta, center head Umesh Kuniyal, Academic Head Uday Mehra, PRO Anil Rawat, vice admiral Vinay Badhwar, Brigadier Vinod Pasbola, A K Singh, Colonel Abhishek Mamgain, R N Aswal, P C Thapliyal, Mahavir Rana, Digambar Prasad Baluni, Anil Chandola, Dr Raj Kunwar Asthana, Robert Kaushik and L B S Shobhit were also present during the event.
