JAMMU, July 23: Deputy Commissioner, Shopian chaired a high level meeting of officers and members of Tirath Raj Kapal Mochan Shrine and temples Shopian to review the arrangements for annual Shravan Bha and annual Hawan at Shri Kapal Mochan shrine to be held from August 4 to August 7.
The TRKM Committee led by Ashok Sathoo its president along with members including A K Lahori, Kundan Bhan and Dileep Lahori demanded that adequate facilities be ensured for the visiting devotees at the shrine.
The DC gave on spot instructions to officers to ensure seamless arrangements at the shrine and conduct immediate site inspection to assess necessary works.
The ADDC Shopian, ADC Shopian, SSP Shopian, representatives from Health, Jal Shakti, Municipality, Rural Development Department, Fisheries and Floriculture were present in the meeting.
The administration ensured necessary facilities like sanitation, water supply, power supply, security and medical services to the devotees.
