DC reviews JK Samadhan public grievances redressal process

REASI, Dec 16: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Nidhi Malik today chaired a meeting to review JK Samadhan public grievances redressal process. The meeting focused on assessing the performance of the line departments in grievance disposal and the progress of citizen registration on the portal.
The Deputy Commissioner conducted a detailed department-wise review of grievances received, disposed of and pending on the JK Samadhan platform. She directed for reducing disposal time to enhance public trust.
The DC stressed the need for transparent, effective and time-bound redressal strictly in adherence to the prescribed timelines.
She further instructed officers to maintain the quality of grievance disposal by providing factual, well-documented and satisfactory replies to citizens.
Highlighting the significance of wider public participation, Malik underscored the need to enhance citizen registration on the JK Samadhan portal.
She urged all departments to generate awareness among the beneficiaries so that more citizens can avail themselves of the benefits of the online grievances redressal mechanism.
The meeting was attended by ADDC, Sukhdev Singh Samyal; ADC, Rakesh Kumar; CPO, Narinder Kumar; ACD, CEO and other senior district officers.
