RAJOURI, DECEMBER 13: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma chaired a comprehensive review meeting of Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) and LPG distributors of District Rajouri at the Conference Hall of DC Office to assess the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) 3.0.
The meeting focused on distributor-wise progress of e-KYC, Aadhaar seeding of PMUY beneficiaries and the status of non-PMUY LPG connections in the district. Detailed discussions were held to ensure accurate beneficiary data, transparency and effective delivery of benefits under the scheme.
The DC emphasized that there should be zero tolerance towards pilferage or diversion of LPG cylinders and instructed all stakeholders to strictly adhere to the laid-down guidelines. He stressed the need for maintaining integrity in the distribution system to ensure that benefits reach the genuine beneficiaries.
Directing the distributors to expedite the e-KYC process, the DC underlined the importance of timely completion to avoid inconvenience to beneficiaries and to strengthen monitoring mechanisms.
The DC further directed the District Nodal Officer (DNO), PMUY, to take action as per guidelines against gas agency owners in case of non-compliance and to ensure strict enforcement of norms.
The meeting concluded with a call for coordinated efforts by OMCs, LPG distributors and the district administration to ensure efficient, transparent and beneficiary-centric implementation of PMUY 3.0 in District Rajouri.
