JAMMU, July 19: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has assigned to Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Sachin Kumar Vaishya, the additional charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB), Katra.

“In the interest of administration, it is hereby ordered that Sachin Kumar Vaishya, the 2015 batch AGMUT Cadre IAS officer, currently holding the charge of Deputy Commissioner Jammu, shall hold the charge of the post of CEO, SMVDSB, Katra, in addition to his own duties, during the period of deputation of Anshul Garg, the 2013 batch AGMUT Cadre IAS officer, to Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, with effect from July 21, 2025 to August 16, 2025,” read an order issued by M Raju, Commissioner Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department.
Meanwhile, Avny Lavasa, who was abroad on a study leave, has joined the Union Territory back, and she, along with three other officers, is expected to proceed for a mid-career training of 21 days at LBSNAA Mussoorie.
As per sources, the former DC Jammu, Lavasa, will get a posting in the UT only after her return from the training after August 15.
