REASI, June 19: Deputy Commissioner Reasi helped a new mother to reach home at Mahore from Reasi where she was dropped by an ambulance from SMGS Hospital Jammu.
The woman, namely Fatima Begum (21), wife of Namaz Ahmad of village Shadol in Mahore tehsil, had been earlier referred from District Hospital Reasi to SMGS Hospital Jammu where she delivered a baby and was discharged today. As the family had mistakenly mentioned Reasi as their location since they were referred from DH Reasi, the ambulance from Jammu dropped them outside the district hospital.
Even as the family had to reach Mahore, they were not having any conveyance because of the lockdown restrictions. After the matter came into the notice of DC Reasi , Indu Kanwal Chib, she arranged a private vehicle and helped the family to reach home in Mahore.
