DC, DDC Chairman inspect amenities around Gupt Ganga shrine at Bhaderwah

DODA, DECEMBER 13: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Harvinder Singh along with Chairman District Development Council (DDC), Doda, Dhananter Singh Kotwal today visited the historic Gupt Ganga Cave Shrine at Bhaderwah to review the condition of the site and assess the need for repairs and development works.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner and the DDC Chairman inspected the existing infrastructure and interacted with the local residents and devotees, who raised various demands, seeking repair, maintenance and improvement of amenities around the religious site.

The DDC chairman and DC gave patient hearing to the issues projected by the public and assured them that genuine demands would be examined and addressed on priority in coordination with the concerned departments.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of preserving religious and heritage sites and directed the concerned officers to prepare a detailed assessment report for necessary repair and restoration works. He also stressed timely execution of works to facilitate pilgrims and local visitors.

The visit was accompanied by the Chief Planning Officer, Executive Officer Municipal Committee Bhaderwah and other concerned officers, who were instructed to take necessary follow-up action as per directions issued on the spot.
