JAMMU, Apr 8: The Dogra Brahmin Pratinidhi Sabha (DBPS) here today is organizing a series of events to celebrate the birth anniversary of Lord Parshuram Ji.
As part of the celebrations, a grand religious procession (Shobha Yatra) will be organised on April 17, 2026 at 10:30 am covering prominent areas of Jammu city.
Preparations for the Shobha Yatra are being coordinated under the guidance and support of prominent members including Ved Prakash Sharma, DBPS president, Rakesh Datta, Parshad Parshat, Dr. S.M Bali, Jeewan Sharma, SSP, Vinay Sharma, Aakrit Sharma, Keshav Sharma, M.L Pady, Shiv Ram Sharma and B.R Sharma.
The event will also include participation from social leaders and community members in large number. Other programmes like medical camp, students’ competitions and traditional ceremonies are also planned for the celebrations.
The organizers have appealed to the public to participate enthusiastically and make the event a grand success.
