JAMMU, Aug 14: DBN Amarvilla School hosted its much-anticipated leadership programme 2025, marking the official installation of the new Student Council. The event was graced by chief guest Major General S K Sharma (Retd.), DBN Trust Manager Rajendra Kakkar, Co-Manager Darshan Lal, Principal Ranju Malhotra and parents.
The programme began with a warm welcome by Class 11 student Priyani Magotra, followed by a planter presentation and a Lamp Lighting Ceremony symbolizing growth and guidance. The Prefect Council, led by Head Boy Aryan Sharma and Head Girl Anmol Sharma, marched proudly, with each leader’s achievements announced.
Major General S K Sharma conferred badges and sashes, inspiring the young leaders. Pre-School children performed an Independence Day dance, while senior students presented a cultural dance on unity and patriotism. The Head Boy and Head Girl pledged their commitment to serve the school community.
He urged students to embrace their Dogra heritage and language, emphasizing true leadership’s roots in culture. Principal Malhotra appreciated students’ efforts and highlighted the importance of nurturing leadership qualities.
