SRINAGAR, July 1: BJP’s national spokesperson and Chairperson of J&K Waqf Board, Dr Darakhshan Andrabi today paid visit to Zadibal Imambara and reviewed Muharram facilities there.
She said Imam Hussain is the everlasting inspiration for all those who sacrifice everything for upholding the flag of truth without any compromise.
Dr Andrabi visited Imambara at Zadibal in Srinagar on Tuesday to review the facilities for the people during Muharram. She was accompanied by BJP Srinagar district president, Advocate Sheikh Salman, Zadibal constituency president, Suhail Ahmad and Syed Muzaffar Rizvi.
She prayed at the Imambara and interacted with many public delegations.
Waqf Board Chairperson also spoke to media there and said that the sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain is the clear pronouncement that truth always wins over the evil.
“Imam Hussain is the everlasting inspiration for all those who sacrifice everything for upholding the flag of truth without any compromise to yield before the untruth”, Dr Andrabi said.
She added that Muharram bridges the sectarian gaps and teaches us the unity and harmony.
