JAMMU, June 26: Defence Accounts Pensioner’s Welfare Association (DAPWA) celebrated its 5th Annual Raising Day function with great fervour, gaiety and enthusiasm, here today.
The function was presided over by chief patron R K Dogra.
Speaking on the occasion, he described the main concept and purpose of formation of the association and result of activities achieved during the past nine years after its formation.
Ashwani Trisal, Chairman, Darshan Grover, vice chairman, Y P Sharma, joint secretary and D V Sharma, joint organising secretary, also spoke on the occasion.
Vote of thanks was presented by general secretary Rash Pal Digra and K G Gupta, organising secretary.
Among others who were present included Raj Singh, S K Sharma and H R Bahadur.
