DAP delegation calls on CS

JAMMU, Jan 24: A delegation of Democratic Azad Party (DAP) leaders led by Sanjay Dhar and Gowher Rashid Wani and others today met the Chief Secretary, Arun Kumar Mehta and submitted a memorandum, regarding mitigation of the problems of common people of J&K, in general and regarding absorption of unemployed educated youth, overaged youth of the JK UT in Government services and implementation of all welfare schemes, besides treating the displaced community as citizens of India, and mitigate their as well as PM package employees sufferings,.
The delegation made a submission through the memorandum that displaced people living in camps are not living on their own choice and the leaders have requested the Chief Secretary to restrict the bureaucracy for using weapons of harassment on migrants.
Delegation complimented Chief Secretary for his assurance and hoped that his assurances will come true with implementation of the demands for consideration in due course of time.
