JAMMU, Sept 7: Team Trikuta Nagar Welfare Society (TNWS) here today organised a review meeting regarding development of Trikuta Nagar Colony.
Speakers in the meeting discussed problems and demanded early solution for these from the concerned authorities.
They demanded repair of the damaged street lights and said that substandard work poses risk of short-circuit in this rainy season which may affect human lives.
TNWS members also said that in late night hours some elements throw litter near residential houses and demanded strict action from JMC in this regard.
“The under pass road from sector 4 and sector 5 to the Petrol Pump to Trikuta Nagar Extension should be reconstructed as this is on a Nallah and leads to main market Trikuta Nagar from Chennai Himmat Colony and during rainy season the flash floods has washed away the road,” they maintained.
The meeting was chaired by Rajinder P. Kakkar, TNWS president and was attended by Shailja Gupta, Rama Jamwal, Rajani Malhotra, Er. Ravindra Kaul, Om Raj Sharma, O.P Sharma, Er. Ashok Kumar Arora, S.N Kaul, Vijay Gupta and Krishna Lal Gupta.
