KATHUA, June 22: A dharna of district Kathua, Daily Wagers organized at EM&RE Division, Kathua in which all the district Daily Wagers participated including regular employees/PPEU district Kathua members, today.
On the occasion it was decided in one voice that a chain hunger strike will start from June 24 onwards till the demands are accepted by the Government.
The demands included regularization of Daily Wagers of PDD who have completed seven year regular services and thereafter, filling of vacant posts of RCL through existing Need Based workers, shifting of vacant posts of PDC to PDD, acute shortage of regular cadre linemen and Daily Wagers’ regularization.
