POONCH, May 6: A daily wager employee of Jal Shakti Department died after he fell down from mountain while performing his duty at Saiklu in Mandi in Poonch district.
Official sources said that the deceased emoloyee was doing his work pertaining to the PHE department when he fell down from mountain. The locals shifted him to Sub District Hospital Mandi where he was declared brought dead.
The deceaded was identified as Mohd Bashir (52), son of Ali Mohd. resident of Bandi Kama Khan in Sathra area of Mandi.
The family members demanded job for the son of deceased saying that he died while rendering his duty that too on very less wages.
