DADAA continues signature campaign in Samba

JAMMU, June 28: With their demand for setting up Duggar satellite channel, Doordarshan Approved Drama Artists Association (DADAA) continued their signature campaign, here today.
The signature campaign was organised in Samba district with the support, Samba Chapter President, Raman Singh Slathia and his executive members.
A large number of people from all communities including remote areas adjoining Samba town signed in support of satellite Duggar channel and also appreciated the efforts of association for organizing a signature campaign.
Speaking on the occasion, DADAA President, JS Babli said that they are demanding satellite Duggar channel on the lines of Kashir channel and other channels whose sole objective is to protect, promote and develop the rich cultural heritage and languages of more than one crore Dogri speaking population spread across Mirpur, Bimbar, Bagh, Sialkot and Shakargarh in Pakistan, Gurdaspur, Pathankot and Hoshiarpur in Punjab, Chamba, Kangra, Palampur, Kullu and Manali in Himachal Pradesh.
A large number of actors, producers, directors, writers, singers and Samba district Congress leaders Sandeep Sharma, Sandeep Singh, BJP Leader Rakesh Singh Pinta and other dignitaries participated in this campaign.
