JAMMU, June 4: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has announced a revision in the Dearness Allowance (DA) for its employees, increasing it from 53% to 55% of the basic pay, effective from January 1, 2025.

“In continuation to the Government order number 28-F of 2025 dated January 27, 2025, it is hereby ordered that the Government employees working in regular pay levels under 7th pay commission shall be paid a revised DA at the rate of 55% of the basic pay per month with effect from January 1, 2025,” read an order. It said the employees so far were paid DA at the rate of 53% of the basic pay.
