RAMBAN, Apr 1: Police here today traced and recovered 46 lost mobile phones, collectively valued at Rs. 8.6 lakh approximately and handed them over to their rightful owners in the presence of SSP Ramban, Arun Gupta.
These missing mobile phones have been recovered from different parts of J&K and even from outside the UT. The recovery operation was carried out by a dedicated team of Cyber Police Station Ramban, led by Inspector Ashiq Hussain and comprising PSI Arun Singh, ASI Mohd Shareef, Sgct Ayaz Ahmed and Ct. Hemat Singh. The team utilized Central Equipment Identity Register Portal along with advanced technical tools and systematic investigative techniques to trace and recover the lost phones.
After completing all necessary verification formalities, the recovered mobile phones were restored to their legitimate owners.
