SRINAGAR, Dec 26: Cyber Police Station Ganderbal has traced and recovered 46 missing and lost mobile phones worth several lakhs of rupees from different parts of J&K.
Police said the Cyber Police Station had received multiple complaints from the general public over the past four months regarding missing mobile phones.
Acting promptly, police said, special and dedicated teams were constituted, which carried out sustained technical surveillance and field operations.
“As a result of these efforts, 46 mobile phones were successfully recovered from various locations,” police said.
The recovered devices were today formally handed over to their rightful owners by SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal in the presence of DySP Headquarters Ganderbal, after completion of all legal formalities.
