UDHAMPUR, Apr 15: Cyber Cell of District Police Udhampur recovered and successfully refunded defrauded amount of Rs 2, 67,211/- in eight different complaints.
Cyber Cell DPO Udhampur had received eight complaints regarding the online financial fraud. On receiving the complaints, a team of Cyber Cell DPO Udhampur swung into action and initiated the process for recovery of the amount.
As a result, the amount of Rs 2,67,211/- of the total cheated amount has been recovered and credited to the victims account.
Udhampur Police have urge the general public to remain extra vigilant and promptly report to the National Helpline number 1930 or Cyber Cell Udhampur helpline number 9103996429 if any suspicious call is noticed.
