REASI, June 26: In a significant achievement, the Cyber Cell of District Police Reasi has successfully recovered an amount of Rs 10,06,678 in multiple online fraud cases reported over the past 45 days within its jurisdiction.
The recovery could be made possible due to the relentless efforts of the Cyber Investigation Unit Reasi, led by PSI Varun Sharma, under the immediate supervision of Dy SP Headquarters Reasi Vishal Singh Jamwal (Nodal Officer for Cyber Crime).
It is pertinent to mention that from January 2025 to till date, Cyber Cell Reasi has recovered a cumulative amount of Rs 33,91,920.89/- in online fraud cases and has also successfully recovered 43 stolen or lost mobile phones, valued approximately at Rs 8.60 lakh.
