JAMMU, June 14: In a significant development, Chenab Valley Power Projects Limited (CVPPL) has signed Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with GRIDCO Limited for off-take of power from its Kiru (624MW) Hydro-Electric Project at Bhubaneswar in Odisha on Friday.
This agreement was signed by Umakanta Sahoo, Director (Trading & Business Development/Commercial) on behalf of GRIDCO & Amrik Singh, Group General Manager (Planning) on behalf of CVPPL in the presence of Trilochan Panda, Managing Director, GRIDCO and officers of GRIDCO, NHPC and Rattle HEP.
The PPA is valid for a period of 40 years from the date of commercial operation of the project.
