JAMMU, Dec 26: Unidentified thieves decamped with currency garlands and cash from a shop in Arnia area here today.
Owner of Rahul General Store in Ward number 2, Arnia, Sahil, told the Excelsior that this is the third theft committed in his shop, with police failing to arrest any individual in any case thus far.
“In the recent case, my father spotted the shop’s shutter open around 1 am today,” Sahil said.
He said, accordingly, all the family members reached the shop and found several currency garlands and cash amounting to Rs 35-40000 stolen from the shop.
According to Sahil, police have been provided with the CCTV footage of the area outside the shop and a written complaint has also been lodged but no arrest has been made so far.
