JAMMU, Mar 27: Mahant Rohit Shastri, president of Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust, today informed that a grand “Jammu-Kashmir Cultural Festival” will be held on March 31, (Tuesday) at Majestic Grand Banquet Resort, Mishriwala near here.
Addressing a press conference here, today he stated that the festival will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The event will be presided over by Swami Avdheshanand Giri, while the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, along with other dignitaries, will attend as chief guest.
Mahant Rohit Shastri said that the main objective of this festival is to showcase the rich culture, traditions, and spiritual heritage of Jammu and Kashmir. The event aims to bring traditional arts, folk attire, handicrafts, and cultural heritage onto a single platform, allowing the public to experience the region’s diverse culture at first hand.
The festival will feature a cultural exhibition, traditional performances, a farmers’ fair, a free medical camp, a community feast, and several other attractive programs.
