CUJ’s faculty conferred ‘Certificate of Appreciation’

JAMMU, Dec 3: Assistant Professor, Centre for Comparative Religions and Civilizations at Central University of Jammu (CUJ), Dr. Ashwani Kumar has been honoured with a Certificate of Appreciation by the Indian Society for Buddhist Studies (ISBS) for his significant contributions in the field of Pali Literature and Buddhist Philosophy.
A handout stated that Dr. Kumar has been associated with ISBS since 2012 and has consistently participated in its annual conferences, presenting impactful research papers and contributing to scholarly discourse.
He is also serving as an Executive Member of the Society, playing an active role in its academic initiatives.
Recognizing his academic scholarship, commitment, and sustained dedication to Buddhist Studies, the Indian Society for Buddhist Studies conferred this prestigious recognition during its silver jubilee celebration, marking the 25th annual conference of ISBS.
The event was recently held at Sanchi Buddhist-Indic University, Madhya Pradesh.
