CUJ VC releases wall magazine ‘Sharda’

JAMMU, Mar 19: Vice-Chancellor of Central University of Jammu, Prof Ashok Aima today released “Sharda”, wall magazine of the Department of Hindi and other Indian Languages, CUJ.
Prof Rasal Singh, Dean Students’ Welfare and Head of the Department, Hindi and other Indian Languages, informed that aim of the wall magazine “Sharda” is to develop literary and cultural environment within the university. This offers platform to encourage creativity among university fraternity especially students, he said and also highlighted other activities of the department.
The advisor of this wall magazine , Dr Shashank Shukla informed that the magazine has columns like “Yuva Man”, Shtri Man, Dharohar and Navankur. Scholars namely Piyush and Sushil Kurma are the editor of the first edition of the wall magazine. Besides scholars and students from other departments, Dr Vandana Sharma, Dr Vinay Shukla, Dr Ratnesh Yadav and Dr Arvind Yaday from Department of Hindi and other Indian Languages were also present on the occasion.
