CUJ organizes lecture on ‘Digital Hygiene’

JAMMU, Nov 7: Department of Human Resource Management and Organizational Behaviour (HRM&OB), School of Business Studies, Central University of Jammu (CUJ), organized a lecture on the theme “Digital Hygiene” under the mentorship of Prof Sanjeev Jain, Vice Chancellor of the University.
The event was graced by M Y Kichloo (IPS) from the Jammu and Kashmir Police Department, who was the keynote speaker. The occasion was attended by faculty members, including Prof Jaya Bhasin, Head, Department of HRM&OB; Prof Yashwant Singh, Registrar CUJ; Prof Neelika Arora, Dean SBS; Dr Gowhar Rasool Assistant Professor HRM&OB; Dr Asif Ali Assistant Professor HRM&OB, Dr Anju Thapa Assistant Professor MSCM, Dr Mahendra Kumar Associate Professor TTM, Dr Ranjeet Kumar Raman Head TTM, Dr Arun Kumar Assistant Professor MSCM, Biswa Bhushan Pradhan, Assistant Professor TTM and Dr Susmita Ekka, Assistant Professor HRM&OB.
Earlier, Prof Jaya Bhasin, while presenting welcome address, highlighted the importance of digital innovation while Prof Yashwant Singh encouraged the students to make the most of the opportunity to learn from the distinguished resource person, whose insights would help them better understand the nuances of digital safety and responsible online behavior.
In his keynote address, M Y Kichloo elaborated on the concept of digital hygiene, emphasizing the importance of maintaining safety and security in the digital domain. He discussed the responsible use of technology, data protection, and the growing need for awareness about cyber threats in today’s digital era.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of BBA-MBA (Integrated) and MBA (Semester I & III) programmes. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment.
Formal vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Gowhar Rasool, the coordinator of the event. The programme was coordinated by all faculty members from the Department of HRM&OB.
