CUJ celebrates National Broadcasting Day

JAMMU, July 23 : The National Broadcasting Day was today celebrated at the Department of Mass Communication and New Media, Central University of Jammu (CUJ).
The event was held under the patronage of Vice-Chancellor Prof Sanjeev Jain.
The session was gracefully hosted by Pushplata and Head of Department, Abhay S D Rajput extended a warm welcome to all attendees.
Prof Paramveer Singh, a renowned media academician, delivered an insightful address, highlighting the historic and contemporary importance of radio broadcasting in shaping public opinion, promoting education and fostering community engagement.
A team of Top FM including RJ Pallavi, RJ Aryan, station head Neeraj and Abhishek Gupta joined as special guests.
They interacted with the students and faculty, sharing real-world experiences from the field of radio and elaborating on its evolving role in the digital age.
The successful organization of the program was managed by dedicated research scholars Aditya Negi, Sunaina Harit, Sujata Behera and Neha Singh, along with enthusiastic support from the student community of CU Jammu.
The event witnessed active participation from students and scholars of the department.
A vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Manish Prakash.
