Crude palm oil futures soften on subdued demand

NEW DELHI, Jan 28: Crude palm oil prices fell by 0.11 per cent to Rs 445.20 per 10 kg in futures trading today as speculators offloaded their positions due to subdued demand in the spot market against sufficient supplies.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in February softened by 50 paise, or 0.11 per cent, to Rs 445.20 per 10 kg in business turnover of 419 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in March traded lower by 30 paise, or 0.07 per cent, to Rs 451.30 per 10 kg in 247 lots.
Market analysts said offloading positions by speculators due to subdued demand in the spot market against adequate supplies. (PTI)
