NEW DELHI, Sept 30: Continued its losing streak for the third straight day, crude palm oil prices were down 0.40 per cent to Rs 421.70 per 10 kg in futures trading today as traders offloading their positions, taking negative cues from spot market.
Besidees, adequate stocks position on higher supplies from producing belts weighed on crude palm oil prices.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in October month declined by Rs 1.70, or 0.40 per cent to Rs 421.70 per 10 kg in business turnover of 222 lots.
On similar lines, the oil for delivery in September contracts traded lower by 70 paise, or 0.16 per cent to Rs 425.40 per 10 kg in 42 lots.
Marketmen said offloading of positions by participants as demand eased in the spot market against sufficient stocks position mainly kept pressure on crude palmn oil prices at futures trade. (PTI)
